Alicia is a 2nd class municipality in the province of Isabela, Philippines. As of the last census available to me, which is dated 2015, the population of Alicia was around 71,000 people. However, the population could have changed since then, and for the most accurate data, you should refer to the latest census.
The area is largely rural and is known for its agricultural activity, as is typical for much of the province of Isabela. The main crops grown in Alicia and surrounding areas include rice and corn. The economy of the town is primarily based on these agricultural activities.
Alicia, the old town of Angadanan, is known for the Pagay Festival Balitok Ti Alicia and its famous historical landmark, the Our Lady of Atocha Church completed and inaugurated in 1849 which was officially declared by the Philippine Department of Tourism as a national religious tourist destination in the Philippines.
